For patients scheduled for a Full Skin Exam (Mole check):
A complete visual examination of the skin is an important tool to diagnose skin cancer at an early and treatable stage. Please avoid wearing makeup, nail polish, hairspray or hair gel to the appointment to allow for a thorough exam.
A note on children in the office:
We love children, and we feel a strong sense of responsibility to keep them safe while in our office. To this end, we do not allow children in the exam room during surgical procedures or full skin exams. Children 13 and older may remain unsupervised in the waiting room. We respectfully request that children under the age of 13 remain at home unless an adult is available to supervise them. We truly appreciate you helping us keep your child safe.
